1.  John (“Jack”) Marmaduke RAMSAY, born 5th September 1897 at “Harrow”, Queensland, Australia, educated in England at Horton and Harrow, entered Sandhurst AMC in August 1915. Awarded his Commission in January 1916, he was sent to the Front in September 1916. Commissioned Lieutenant in December 1916 and made Acting Captain early in 1917 - 2nd Btn. attached 10th Btn. the Rifle Brigade. He was severely wounded in action and died at a casualty clearing station 13th April 1917 - Aged 19. He is buried at Bray Military Cemetery - II.G.52.

                      iii    Robert Ottiwell RAMSAY, born 1 Jun 1900 in Queensland, Australia, died 1996. He farmed the family estate, Kinblethmont (3000 acres near Arbroath). Married ? 6 children. Died 1996.

                      iv    (Edith) Margaret RAMSAY, Born 1901 in Queensland, Australia, died 1991. In 1926 she married Charles Hamilton BOUCHER, Ghurka officer, captured at Tobruk (then Brigadier); escaped from a POW camp in Italy. Commanded a parachute regiment; General Officer Commanding Malaya (as Major General). Retired sick in 1950 . Knighted, but he died suddenly, about a year after his retirement, on 15th November 1951 in London.

                      v     Frances Marion (“Molly”) RAMSAY, Born 1904 in Queensland, Australia, died 1952. She married Hoel Urquhart Vidal SCRUTTON, 18 Aug 1927 at St John the Evangelist, Ickham (Kent). They had 3 children.

                      vi    Helen Prudence RAMSAY, born 19 Oct 1907 on board ship from Australia to England, died Mar 1992 in London - Aged 84. She married Henry Eric Southey HARBEN, 5 Jun 1927.

            30.     i      William Michael PAPINEAU, born Abt 1785 in Carshalton (Surrey), baptized 13 Jan 1785 at All Saints, Carshalton (Surrey), census 1861 at Wellfield House, Streatham Common, London (Surrey). He married Margaret WILKINSON, 10 Oct 1816 at St Mary, Lambeth (Surrey).

                      ii     Richard PAPINEAU, born 1788, baptized 10 May 1788 at All Saints, Carshalton (Surrey).
